O Senor Don Gato was a cat. On a high red roof Don Gato sat. He was there to read a letter, (meow, meow, meow) where the reading light was better, (meow, meow, meow) 'Twas a love-note for Don Gato! "I adore you," wrote the ladycat, who was fluffy white, and nice and fat. There was not a sweeter kitty, (meow, meow, meow) in the country or the city (meow, meow, meow) and she said she'd wed Don Gato! O Senor Don Gato jumped with glee! He fell off the roof and broke his knee, broke his ribs and all his whiskers,(meow, meow, meow) and his little solar plexus (meow, meow, meow) "Ay Caramba!!" cried Don Gato. All the doctors they came on the run, just to see if something could be done. And they held a consultation,(meow, meow, meow) about how to save their patient, (meow, meow, meow) how to save Senor Don Gato. But in spite of everything they tried, poor Senor Don Gato up and died. No, it wasn't very merry,(meow, meow, meow) going to the cemetary,(meow, meow, meow) for the ending of Don Gato. But as the the funeral passed the market square, such a smell of fish was in the air, though the burial was plated, (meow, meow, meow) he became reanimated, (meow, meow, meow) he came back to life, Don Gato! __ coke-a-cola came to town pepsi-cola pushed him down dr. pepper picked him up and now we're drinking 7 up 7 up go the flu now we're drinkin Mt. Jingle Bells, Batman smells, Robin laid an egg, The batmobile lost its wheels, And Joker got away "Jingle Bells Batman Smells", written by Steve, a fan of BusSongs.com – thanks Steve! In Gotham you can hear the sound of Christmas cheer, But Batman’s found no friends around, no one will come near. Everybody knows he doesn’t wash his clothes, With smelly socks and stinky jocks, Batman’s on the nose. CHORUS Oh, Jingle Bells, Batman Smells, Robin flew away, Batmobile lost a wheel and the Joker got away, hey. Jingle Bells, Batman Smells, Robin flew away, Batmobile lost a wheel, oh Happy Christmas Day. Batman says “Let’s go.” Robin says “No, no.” -“If you don’t wash your socks by gosh they’re gonna start to grow” It’s no dynamic deal, your bouquet lacks appeal, I can’t abide the smell inside your yuletide batmobile.” Dashing through the night in three wheeled ‘batmo trike’. Batman looks for Gotham crooks, the smell will win the fight. The Joker he then spies, takes him by surprise, Zap! Kapow! with BO now the Joker chokes and dies. Santa in a trice arrives with good advice, “For Christmas Batman from this Fatman, a gallon of Old Spice.” Rudolf gives a scream, “My nose is turning green. Can someone try to teach this guy some personal hygiene.” Batman sees no hope, Dynamic Duo broke, But back at cave the day is saved, there’s Santa with the soap. We thought it was kool-aid, because it was pink. But the thing that they told us, would've grossed out a moose, For that great tasting pink drink, was really bug juice. It looked fresh and fruity, like tasty kool-aids, But the bugs that were in it, were murdered with Raid. We drank it by gallons, we drank it by tons, And the next morning, we all had the runs. So the next time you drink bug juice, and a fly drives you mad, He's just getting even, 'Cause you swallowed his Dad'. \ Here is Cats in the Cradle as I found it in Nevada. There are some pretty weird
chords in it and I don't know what they are. Could someone post them or mail
them to me? It is much appreciated.
Is there a list somewhere of weird chords?
Thanks

Cat's In The Cradle                                Words and music by
                                                   Harry Chapin and Sandy Chapin

As published in "Harry Chapin: A Legacy in Song"
                 (c) 1987 Cherry Lane Music Co., Inc.
IMHO, this is a better version that the simplified version that was/is on
ftp.nevada.edu.

TAB: each space represents an eigth note

The music says CAPO 8 (key of F) but I usually play it CAPO 5 (key of D),
since that's in my range.

   Am                   G7
Oh babe I hate to go.

There's so many times I've let you down,
So many times I've played around.
I tell you now that they don't mean a thing.
Every  place I'll go I'll think of you.
Every song I'll sing, I'll sing for you.
When I come back I'll bring your weddingring.

Chorus:
So kiss me....

Now the time has come I'm leaving you.
Just one more time let me kiss you.
Then close your eyes and I'll be on my way.
You can dream about the days to come,
when I won't have to leave alone,
about the times when I won't have to say.
Chorus:
So kiss me....

Said, "If you're gonna play the game, boy, you gotta learn to play it

And the best that you can hope for is to die in your sleep."

And when he'd finished speakin' he turned back toward the window.
Crushed ou his cigarette and faded off to sleep.
And somewhere in the darkness the gambler he broke even.
But in his final words I found an ace that I could keep.

Well, there it is.
